How Does a Group Lock Box Work?

During a group lockout procedure, the keys for the relevant energy-isolation locks are secured inside the group lock box. Each authorised worker then applies their personal padlock to the box.

The box cannot be opened to retrieve the isolation keys until all personal locks have been removed. This helps maintain control of the keys while workers are completing their tasks.
